*Qualified students who do not have a sufficient background will be required to take two prerequisite courses in programming and statistics before starting the core curriculum.A linear algebra course must also be completed within the first six months of the program. Eligibility for Financial Aid (Domestic Students)
Your eligibility for assistance is based on two factors: the cost of attending New York Tech and your family's ability to pay based on the information you provide on your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
The FAFSA is available on October 1 in the year before the fall you plan to attend. We recommend submitting your FAFSA as early as possible in your application process.
To complete your FAFSA, you can use the Data Retrieval Tool to transfer your and your parents’ federal tax information.
