Online Master’s in Data Science Tuition & Financial Aid

The Online Data Science, M.S. program is 30 credit hours in total, with 3-credit classes available each semester.* Tuition rates are outlined in the chart below.

*Qualified students who do not have a sufficient background will be required to take two prerequisite courses in programming and statistics before starting the core curriculum.A linear algebra course must also be completed within the first six months of the program. Students may be able to satisfy this prerequisite with previous education. Reach out to your admissions outreach advisor for a transcript evaluation.

Federal Student Aid

If you are interested in requesting financial aid for your M.S. in Data Science, we ask that you file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). New York Institute of Technology’s Federal School code is 002782.

Note: Applicants may need tax and financial information to complete the FAFSA. The IRS Direct Data Exchange (or applicable IRS data-sharing tools) may help streamline the application process and improve data accuracy.

Billing Schedule

Tuition for New York Tech is due on fixed dates before the start of each semester. A late fee of $400 applies to balances not covered by the due date. You can view and pay bills directly through the New York Tech Student Service HUB.
